The name is “Marawi” and it is a native variety discovered in Israel some years ago and it seems to be not related to any other variety in the world!

The problem was that it was not available on the market… so far.

Now we can try it!

It is white, produced by  Recanati Winery (from the Hefer Valley) and it has been presented at Expo Milan 2015: the first release of this grape on the market!

Very curious to taste it!!
