Thanks to Germano who asked me the meaning of “Anteprima”, I am happy to explain it to those who do not work in this sector.

“Anteprima” (singular) and “Anterpime” (plural) are the annual events planned for the national and international press to present the latest produced wines of each specifi wine area.

There are several events like that all over Italy but among the most famous, we surely find Anteprime Toscane: the ones organized in Tuscany (central Italy) to try the famous regional wines. They all are concentrated in only one week to facilitate the organization of the trips to the press.
