Somehowwe imagined it but, today, we can say that it is “scientifically proven”.

Do not use it as an excuse but a certain tendency to gain weight exists. Each of us uses energy derived from food to do physical work, as well as to produce heat through metabolic processes. Well, in some individuals, such processes are more efficient and the resultant consumption of energy is higher.

We cannot do much: the individual’s ability to settle or lose energy seems to be genetically determined! What is certain is that an excess of stored fat as well as an excess of carbohydrates and fats results in the slowing down of these cycles with consequent accumulation of weight.
