Cork represents the 64% of the market of the wine closures in the world and it is essential for certain wines which need the right breathing condition to last for years (as long as you recycle!).

But, some other times, the screw top would be absolutely functional.

The trend is changing!

According to a recent research, from 2008 up to 2013, the screw top market is growing even in traditional markets such as Italy and France:

• from 17% to 19% in Italia;
• from 12% to 31% in France,
• from 29% to 47% in Germany,
• from 7% to 10% in Spain,
• from 43% to 52% nel UK,
• from 30% to 43% in Usa.
