As I written some days ago, on July the 20th a congress about Women, Wine and sustainability took place in Naples (Campania region, southern Italy), organized by the regional association of Women&Wine led by mrs Lorella Di Porzio.

The congress has been coordinated by the wine&food critic Luciano Pignataro who plays a crucial role in promoting wine&food excellences especially in southern Italy. On this occasion, the national president of the association of Women&Wine, mrs. Donatella Cinelli Colombini has launched an idea: “To adopt vines with good potential but that risk extinction”!

And also Luigi Moio, full professor at the University of Naples, has underlined the importance to combine science and business.

At the end, mrs Elisabetta Garzo, president of the Court of Napoli Nord has been rewarded as “Donna del Fare” thanks to her dedication in her field. For her a jewel designed by mrs. Donatella Camporese.

Finally, at “Zì Teresa” restaurant, a wine&food path has been organized by the women of the association along with the pastry chef Sal De Riso and Salvatore Gabbiano, the proceeds have been donated to charity to support pregnant women who live in difficult contexts.
