We all love the Oscar cerimony to discover the best movies, to pick the best outfits but what about the wines?! Which ones have been served to the stars of Hollywood?

First of all Champagne and specifically the one of the notorious maison Piper-Heidsieck (PH), the only bubbles available at the Oscar cerimony as well as at Governors Ball (the Academy’s official Oscars after-party) since 3 years ago. For the occasion they have mainly poured the Cuvée Brut from a limited edition magnum.

And the wines could only be the Californian ones signed by the oscar winner, the director Francis Ford Coppola (including ‘Director’s Cut Oscars 90th Edition’, Director’s Cut Sauvignon Blanc, Director’s Cut Chardonnay 2015, Francis Coppola Reserve Pinot Noir 2016 and Archimedes 2014, a Bordeaux blend).  Francis Ford Coppola has a 3-years agreement since 2017 and his wines are also the exclusive choice of Sundance Film Festival.

What’s more: a cocktails based on Champagne and the Tequila Don Julio were available at the cerimony.

And what about the food? The chef with Japanese origins, Puck, has served assorted choices: from truffle to lobsters, from pizza to caviar, from vegan tapas to sashimi and has ended with macaron with flavours such as negroni, gin mojito and piña colada.

Italy has been protagonist as well thanks to Il Palato Italiano which has led the GBK Pre-Oscars Luxury Lounge hold at the Tasting Room of St. Supéry Estate and offering the best italian food excellences.
