Some herbs can help in contrasting stress!

They are calledadaptogens” as they helps in adapting to circumstancies, even difficult ones. Some of them may limit the hyper-production of catecholamines (typical of subjects with a propensity to anxiety etc..) During stressful situations.

The most powerful ones are:

  • Rhodiola Rosea: acts on mood and helps to counteract the intake of food that often results from it
  • Maca: better known as the ginseng of the Andes has enormous energy properties

  • Suma: historically used by the indigenous people today is used by Russian athletes to increase muscle mass and strength
  • Ginkgo Biloba: old legendary tree of more than 250 million years and which has withstood the worst pollution of the twentieth century and in particular the residues of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima. It improves circulation by increasing blood flow to the brain and so mental acuity, concentration, short term memory, and cognitive ability.

We can use them to prepare herbal tea maybe!
