As written in some other articles, “proper Nutrition” is finally becoming a more and more popular topic in USA, let’s only thing to the importance given to organic food&wine. And in my opinion, Italian cuisine is the perfect answer to such a need. But there is also something else to face nowadays: time lack. Frozen food and staff like that have been the only one possibility for many families and for a long time. Maybe something is changing: more and more people are fascinating by the chef’s abilities and good food, moreover new and innovative techniques are becoming popular and accessible. Lately I have been impressed by a new technique: a wrap to cook your food in a few minutes and without adding any salt, fat and so on. Maybe this is why it is called “Carta fata” meaning something like “magic wrap”!

And when an Italian chef can guarantee for me I could trust it!

“Carta Fata”, it has been invented in Italy and lately is also available in USA as an Italian chef has moved there to promote it as it may represent a turning point in the USA’s food culture.

This is why I have contacted Federico Zampieri for an interview who, after an extensive experience as chef, has moved to USA founding the USA division of Decorfooditaly: “it allows you to bring all the natural food aromas out” he states and I have been impressed by the originality as well as the ease to use.

I really care about proper nutrition but generally it takes time to cook food in a certain way and so on, while with this wrap you only need to add all of your ingredients all together, close the wrap and cook it for some minutes in a microwave owen. Done, no excuses anymore! If you look at the pictures you can easily get the process (see from step 1 up to 4) and it looks even fun to me.

Italian cuisine has always been known for being healthy and simple, Federico is an example, and his experience in the kitchen is a great guarantee. I will contact him in some months to discover more about this trend in USA!

Good luck!
