For those who do not know whites for aging well.

For those who still do not know the excellences of Campania region, for those who always look for the last vintage especially when choose whites.

Today, in 2015, I have tasted a wonderful Lacryma Christi (white), by Villa Dora winery located in Vesuvio area, Campania region (southern Italy, next to Napoli), vintage 2005!

The wine seems incredibly young; intense and elegant at the nose, with notes of candied citrus and aromatic herbs. On the palate is still vibrant and very mineral as we absolutely expect thinking of the production area influenced by the volcano and the relative volcanic soil composition for instance.

Vesuvio zone is a truly fascinating area from any point of view, this notorious wine is just a proof.
