The american Wine Blog Awards is going on: finalists are online and the public can vote for them.

It was born in America in the 2007 thanks to Tom Wark who used to host it on his own one (Fermention); since 2010 it is managed by the  Wine Bloggers Conference where each year the winners are officially rewarded.

In April the submissions have been opened and then closed for the judging process; after that, the finalists have been published and on those days available for the public’s evaluation. Awards are a combination of the judges’ opinions and the public vote.

Nowadays they have become very popular and the number of participants is amazing.
