The Concours Mondial Des Féminalise is the international competition launched in France in 2007 with a 100% female jury and conceived by Didier Martin on the basis of studies carried out in France: women dominate the purchasing choice in the 70 % of cases; a quarter of winemakers are women; 56% of purchases made by women are determined by medals and so on.

This year it will be held in Beaune, at the Palais des Congrès, on the 3rd and the 4th of April (2023) and I am happy to be part of such a relaunch in collaboration with Antonella Cantarutti, responsible for international competitions for the Italian Women and Wine Association, the biggest in the world with more than 1000 members; a partnership that sounds almost natural.

Every year 3 members of the Italian Association “Le Donne del Vino” will be guests of the French competition as judges and, from the next edition, the agreement can also be extended to include an agreement aimed at facilitating the entries of the wines of the producers of our association in the competition.

The competition rewards the best wines, sake and spirits from all over the world and Didier Martin aims for an ever wider involvement of our country.

The members who will represent us this year are Carlotta Biraghi, Flaminia Marinaro, Liliana Savioli from whom we can’t wait to gather their impressions.
