The point is that maybe the interaction wine-saliva has been, often, underestimated while it plays a crucial role during a wine tasting so the volume of the wine sip affect the tasting and it has been scientifically proved.

The University of Napoli (Campania region – southern Italy) has conducted a research based on Falanghina, local and very pleasant white wine, discovering how much the size of sip affects the wine’s taste.

It could change the tasting approach, especially among the experts or the wine context, we’ll see.
