The first domain .wine is now available: it has been adopted by Jerez regulatory Council for Jerez wines (Jerez, Xérès, Sherry e Manzanilla) which has launched the portal: “sherry.wine”.

Even Italy is following the trend, for example the Consorzio of Chianti Classico (Toscana region, central Italy), represented by the black rooster, has requested to use chianticlassico.wine and chianticlassico.vin.

Same for Prosecco DOC as well as the Consorzio of Barolo and Barbaresco in Piemonte region.
