The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) is the body in force in the USA to protect the public by enforcing the provisions of the Federal Alcohol Administration Act with programs  which regulate alcohol production, importation, and wholesale businesses; tobacco manufacturing and importing businesses; alcohol labeling and advertising.
Within the wine production, they also supervise the designation of the AVAs (American Viticultural Areas): specific wine growing regions classified basing on unique geological and geographical traits that we could find on the label to identify the production zone of that specific State.

Here is an interactive map to explore any AVA that I find very easy and useful to discover boundaries and details about each single AVA to better understand the wine we are tasting. Last Updated: July 20, 2020.
