The second edition of Matera Film Festival takes place from the 2nd to the 10th of October and this year also opens to international guests such as Cronenberg to benefit from the amazing charm of this characteristic town in Southern Italy. With the aim to strengthen the Aglianico del Vulture image, one of the best and most distinctive local products, the Consortium for Aglianico del Vulture has decided to support the initiative together with Basilicata Wine Tourism Movement.

Thus, during the Film Festival, Aglianico del Vulture and the other great wines of the region will be exhibited in various locations and offered to all guests during the planned dinners, in collaboration with the Association of Matera restaurateurs.

What’s more, three important events are planned for Basilicata wine world as a whole and it is a great pleasure for me to be involved in such a gem-event in unique locations that only Matera can offer.
