a painting?

a painting?

The Italian artist Vincenzo Carucci celebrates its 40 years of activity by paintings with coffee on canvas!

It seems very simplistic but it’s true somehow: we have “created” this special evening together, it will be held in the middle of his exhibit at the Town Hallof the city of Battipaglia (near Napoli in Campania region-south of Italy) which will celebrate an artist who is well known even at international level.

Vincenzo Carucci is a religious and intimate symbol of the town, nowadays.

Vincenzo Carucci represents a civic sense and the pride of Battipaglia city with its wonderful public works (the door of the central church and of the Town Hall for instance) and there are some more creations requested by other Italian cities or abroad such as the bust of Pope Giovanni Paolo the second in Rome, the bust of the notorious business man Giovanni Agnelli in Torino as well as the “Risen Christ” in Manila (Philippines) or the “Deposition” in Brussels (Belgium), for example.

So from January the 10th to the 18th (2015), some of the most beautiful works are at the Town Hall of Battipaglia city for a personal exhibit; but Wednesday the 14th will be an original day: mr. Vincenzo will paint directly with coffee on canvas and he will do it live!

(The evening will be sponsored by Café “Artè” that will offer a gift to all participants).
