This important result has been obtained thanks to the Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) -nonprofit trade association I have written about already– after more than 5 years of work made also of somenthing like 50 agreements with wineries and entities which use the word “Napa” in their own trademarks, in order to have those trademarks compliant with the standards foreseen for the AVA “Napa Valley”.

Moreover, they have also obtained a name protection status for the Napa Valley in  Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey, Australia, Canada, Brazil, China, Europe, India, Israel, New Zealand, Norway.

A great result which could be a good example for many to avoid frauds and improper uses.
