It is the festival focused on rosè wines and it will be held in the magic city of Sorrento in Campania region (southern Italy). It is organized by the national Association of Women&Wine from the 12th to the 14th of May.
Three days of tastings and meetings about this versatile wine supported by the notorious Lidia Bastianich. Rosè wines will be the main characters of restaurant, pizzerias, wine bars of Sorrento downtown and many appointments will be organized especially to focus on the excellent pairing rosè-pizza!
Hearth of the manifestation is Villa Fiorentino.
Some details:
- 12 May at 20:00 – event for the press and wine professionals Pizza and rosé at Acqu’ e sale where the chef and pizzaiolo Antonino Esposito, will prepare different kinds of pizza along with Lorella di Porzio (restaurant Umberto in Napoli and president of the regional delegation of Women&Wine Association) and Franca Di Mauro (restaurant Il Cellaio di Don Gennaro, in Vico Equense) who will cook their typical dishes. The wines will be the ones produced by the Women of the regional Association.
- 13 May at 10:00 at Hotel Europa Palace: there will be a specific meeting about pizza&rosè match also to better discuss about the commercial opportunities in Italy and abroad as well as the successfull communication
The regional delegation Women&Wine Association Campania will make the guests feel at home also thanks to the all sponsors and the partnership with AIS Campania (Italian Association of Sommelier).
