The concept of “Agriturismo”, so Italian that it is not even translated into other languages, is not only synonymous with “own production” and therefore authenticity, typicality and nature. It is much more: means tradition and a sense of community. Not by chance Casale di Martignano aims to build a real district and, in the meantime, it works through an association with other local companies and producers. This is how, however, how the “agritourism” activity is traditionally organized: through the exchange of products and activities in order to deliver to customers a unique package symbol of territoriality and hospitality.

The venue and in particular the pagoda with a view of the lake are so cute and indeed booked for numerous “Italian” weddings, even from abroad. Local products (such as pork cured meats and Sardinian sheep’s milk cheeses with raw milk, fruit and jams, vegetable garden) as well as with camping in rural areas are completed by entertainment activities led by the Italian creativity: pedal boats races along with sailing on the lake, adventure park (ready from next summer), summer camps for children, educational farm and so on are just part of the offer as a whole.

Spread over 140 hectares around the lake of Martignano, the Casale is now managed by Ferrazza family but dates back to the 1400s and evidently offers catering services, organization of events and ceremonies, beach services, social farm. A complementary alternative to the metropolis and the cultural depth of Rome for an outdoor adventure a few steps from the capital.
